Ah, the 2012 scare…where to begin? Don’t worry though, nothing will really happen. Remember how not long ago so many people freaked out about the Y2K scare? Remember the worry about 1984? Remember the era when people built bomb shelters to avoid the imminent nuclear war? Now they’ve created a new date to fear, Dec. 21,2012. My advice is stand firm and be not afraid! Only God knows the time and only He decides what to do with His creations. Not some mayan black magic calendar.
If however you place your faith in scientist theories or fortune tellers doomsday predictions and you also believe you descended from a monkey than go ahead and be scared and buy into this stuff. This is more like a build-up for many movies, websites, & books more than any real truth.

This book is well written, interesting, & easy to understand on the subject on 2012. Recommended for anyone new to the 2012 subject. For anyone who is skeptical to what could or may happen around the 2012 year or beyond, my advice is to prepare for these changes (just to be on the safe side), because our planet is in great crises because of man-made pollution, cutting down of trees, greed, and ignorance.

A caveat: I have NO LOVE for Obama/Clinton/Pelosi, but still…12/21/2012 ~ well, does that mean that I don’t have to pay off my loan I took out to build the patio in the back yard?

The book concentrated too much on the Mayan calendar and culture, which was good,but spent too little time on other indicators of a major event in 2012,e.g.,the predictions of Nostradamus, et al.

The book was one the best I have read. The information is clear in very easy to understand terms. I am an avid reader so I have a lot of material to compare to and I was very pleased with the way the information was presented. If you are looking for information on 2012, this is the book to buy, plus it gives gives you lots of web sites to look up different information. Absolutly great!
